New Boiler Application |A system that Use Boiler to Realize Air-Conditioning Function

"I need a hot water boiler, which can provide heating in winter and cooling in summer." It may seem like a joke, but it is actually the real needs of customers.

 

It is a steel structure workshop supplier, is solving the heating and cooling problems for a powder spraying plant, ensuring that the indoor temperature is between 18-25 temperature all year round. Receiving this demand, the EPCB project team designed a new solution for it, using a combination of hot water boiler + refrigeration unit to solve the user's problem.


What is the working principle of this system that uses boilers to achieve air-conditioning functions? Take a look together:


Heating working principle:

 

When winter comes,

The hot water boiler heating system has a heating center (hot water boiler) and a heat release center (Jet unit). The hot water boiler uses the heat energy released by fuel combustion to heat the water in the container, so that the water reaches the required temperature, so as to achieve the heating function.


When the hot water boiler is running, the water is heated in the boiler, the water temperature increases, and the density decreases. At the same time, the temperature of the return water decreases after being cooled by the radiator, and the density increases. Repeatedly, the hot water boiler provides the generated heat to the jet unit, and the jet unit transfers the wind out and turns it into hot air.In order to achieve better energy-saving effect, EPCB specially designed a heat exchanger to increase the temperature of the return water and reduce the heating time.

 

Refrigeration working principle:

 

When summer comes, the hot water boiler stops operating,

At this time, another set of equipment-screw chiller needs to be operated.

The screw refrigerator uses a pair of intermeshing female and male rotors to rotate in the machine body, periodically changing the volume between each pair of teeth of the rotor to complete the suction, compression and exhaust process. The high-sensitivity temperature sensor automatically adjusts the chilled water when the return water or outdoor environment temperature decreases, so as to achieve efficient integration with the ice storage system.

 

The chiller provides the produced low-temperature water to the jet unit, and the jet unit transmits the wind to become cold air. EPCB carries out the special design of the cooling tower, considering that the refrigerated water will be heated by the air during the reflux process, if it goes directly to the refrigeration unit, it will cause the refrigeration time to be longer and not save energy.

 

In addition, the jet unit plays the role of air exchange, and it has the function of adjusting the temperature.


Wind change working principle:


The outdoor mixed air is filtered by an air filter, cooled or heated by the heat exchanger, and then sent into the space area through the nozzle to complete air conditioning. The jet unit is located at the end of the equipment, and its air outlet adopts a spherical tuyere with remote jet function.

 

Obviously, these are two circulatory systems. Seeing this, you might have a doubt? At the same time, cooling or heating is realized. Isn't this an air-conditioning system? Can I just install a few air conditioners?No!

 

Compared with traditional air conditioners, this system has many advantages, including:

1. High power--The biggest advantage. The power of the general air conditioner is 2-3KW, and this equipment can reach hundreds of KW, which is hundreds of times the power of the air conditioner.

2. High safety. The system can minimize the diffusion of chemical molecules and is suitable for powder spraying plants. However, if the air conditioner is to reach a certain power, multiple units are needed, which will accelerate the diffusion of chemical molecules, and the safety performance is low.

3. More energy-saving. During the spring and autumn period, only need to directly start the jet unit, the air can be changed and the temperature can be automatically adjusted. Greatly save part of energy consumption.
