Boiler Certification Analysis|Check Boiler Certification Required by States

April 23, 2021

Boiler is a kind of special equipment with explosion hazard. For this kind of equipment, each country has corresponding regulatory agencies and related regulations. Therefore, the import and export standards of boilers will be very strict. If the local regulatory regulations are not met, the boiler can't be installed and used locally.

Therefore, learn the requirements for boiler certification in different countries has certain guiding significance for you to choose a boiler supplier.

The certification requirements of each country are different, to avoid entangled in unnecessary boiler certification information, EPCB boiler has specially summarize boiler certification standards Required by States:

1. ASME certification

2. CE certification

3. EAC certification

4. GB certification

5. Other certification

1. ASME certification

The ASME standard is the standard of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, and boilers that meet the ASME standard are accepted by most countries. Such as North and South America, the Middle East, the Philippines and other countries.

Elements of ASME certified boilers:

1.ASME certified manufacturing license valid for three years

2.Carry out production link inspections such as hydraulic test + raw material inspection + welding process + flaw detection, and obtain the supervisory inspection report after passing the inspection, so as to obtain the factory supervisory inspection certificate;

3. Carry out the quality inspection link, and obtain the quality certificate after passing the quality inspection;

4. If you have a Chinese license and a business cooperation letter, it will be easier to obtain ASME certification;

2. CE certification

The European Union is an independent area, and compliance with the PED Directive is the basic condition for boilers to enter the European Union, that is, CE certification.

Elements of CE certification boilers:

1. Carry out production link inspections such as hydraulic test + raw material inspection + welding process + flaw detection, and obtain the supervisory inspection report after passing the inspection, so as to obtain the factory supervisory inspection certificate;

2. Carry out the quality inspection link, and obtain the quality certificate after passing the quality inspection;

3. Have CE welder certificate and Chinese manufacturing license

3. EAC certification (Russian pan-Russian region)

The Russian-speaking area can be produced according to Chinese standards, but an EAC certification is required to enter the customs.

Elements of EAC certified boilers:

1. Have a manufacturing license;

2. Carry out the quality inspection link, and obtain the quality certificate after passing the quality inspection;

4. GB certification (China Technical Supervision Bureau Boiler Inspection Regulations)

The National Standard of the People's Republic of China, referred to as the National Standard, is a national standard code that includes a language coding system and is issued by the National Standardization Management Committee.

Elements of GB certified boilers:

1.National standard certification manufacturing license valid for three years

2. Carry out water pressure test + raw material testing + flaw detection and other production links, and obtain the supervisory inspection report after passing the test, thereby obtaining the factory supervisory inspection certificate;

3. Carry out the quality inspection link, and obtain the quality certificate after passing the quality inspection;

5.Other certification

1. India is a big country in South Asia and a big importer of boilers. If boilers want to enter India, they must comply with India's boiler regulations-IBR.

2. Each state in Australia has its own special requirements for boilers, but they must also meet AS standards.

3. Malaysia implements the DOSH standard, which is basically similar to the ASME standard.

Note: In addition to designing and selecting materials according to local standards, the boiler manufacturing process also requires a third-party organization to inspect and issue a certificate of compliance or a declaration of compliance. This is generally a necessary condition for the settlement of the letter of credit or the entry of the goods. Each country has its own accredited third-party inspection agency, but the cost of inspection is also not a small expense.

In addition, meeting the transportation conditions of the place of use is also a basic condition for boiler export. Many areas abroad have transportation and lifting weight restrictions, so meeting local transportation conditions is also a basic condition for boiler export.

Conclusion:

When purchasing a boiler, knowing the certifications required for your local boiler can save you a lot of money. After all, every boiler certification is a big expense. As the boiler is a special equipment, detailed inspection is necessary, which is also an important basis to prove that the boiler meets the standard.
