In April 2025, a customer message from the EPCB boiler website initiated a deep collaboration between China and Uzbekistan.


The client is a food production company located in Uzbekistan, mainly engaged in the deep processing of agricultural products such as sugar beets and corn. Their products are widely supplied to the domestic market and exported to several Central Asian countries. Because the food processing involves multiple stages such as steaming, sterilization, and packaging disinfection, the company has extremely high requirements for the stability, energy efficiency, and continuous operation capability of its steam system .


At this time, the client was facing a core problem that had long plagued the company's development—the existing Turkish boiler system had high energy consumption and continuously increasing operating costs, making it difficult to meet the company's expanding production needs. It was against this backdrop that the client established contact with EPCB.

 

Professional On-Site Evaluation Supports Customized Solutions


On April 6, 2025, a customer submitted a boiler consultation request through the EPCB boiler website.Coincidentally, the EPCB boiler sales and technical team was in Uzbekistan at the time, visiting local customers and providing market technical services. Upon receiving the customer's message, EPCB boiler immediately contacted the customer by phone.


Through initial communication, the EPCB boiler technical team quickly understood the customer's core needs:

After initial communication, EPCB boiler did not stop at online exchanges. Before returning home, the EPCB boiler team made a special trip to the client's factory to communicate face-to-face with the client's owner and purchasing manager, and conducted an in-depth inspection of the production workshop to comprehensively examine the food production process, steam usage, and the operation of the existing boiler system. This on-site exchange became a crucial turning point in the entire project's progress.


Through on-site investigation, the EPCB boiler technical team discovered that while the client's existing Turkish boiler could maintain daily production, its overall operating efficiency was no longer sufficient to meet the company's ever-increasing production demands. The most prominent issue was high energy consumption. Due to the original system's low thermal efficiency and high flue gas temperature, a significant amount of heat was not effectively utilized during operation, resulting in persistently high natural gas consumption. Over the long term, this led to a continuous increase in the company's energy costs, putting significant pressure on overall profit margins.


Meanwhile, during peak production periods, the instability of boiler steam supply has become increasingly apparent. On-site operational data shows significant fluctuations in steam pressure, with some processes even experiencing insufficient steam supply, directly impacting the stable operation of critical production steps such as packaging, cooking, and sterilization. For the food processing industry, steam stability not only affects production efficiency but also directly impacts product quality and food safety.


EPCB boiler also noted that the customer's existing system had relatively limited automation, with some operational adjustments still relying on manual experience. Due to the lack of precise automatic control, the boiler struggled to maintain optimal combustion under varying loads, impacting thermal efficiency and increasing the difficulty of operation and maintenance. Furthermore, the system lacked a comprehensive energy-saving recovery design; for example, waste heat from flue gas was not fully utilized, the feedwater system was insufficiently optimized, and overall thermal energy utilization was low, further exacerbating energy waste.


Especially considering that the customer's products not only supply the domestic market but are also exported to several Central Asian countries, the company has higher requirements for production continuity, product stability, and energy efficiency. With the high-efficiency energy-saving device in operation, the boiler flue gas temperature has decreased significantly, the overall thermal efficiency has been further improved, and fuel utilization has been effectively improved. Furthermore, the application of intelligent PLC control systems has significantly reduced the complexity of manual operation.
