It uses the principle of heat exchange to reduce the temperature of the boiler exhaust gas, and by increasing the boiler feed water temperature, it can save fuel and save energy.


Boiler economizer, condensers, and coal economizers are all energy-saving devices installed at the end of the boiler, but they have different names and the same principles.

Different types of boilers have different exhaust gas temperatures, so it is necessary to equip different types of boilers with suitable energy-saving devices.

1. The exhaust gas temperature of the steam boiler is about 240°C. If you want to control the flue gas temperature at about 100°C, you can use an economizer and a condenser at the same time. If necessary, we can also recover heat from the condensation recovery device.

2. The exhaust gas of the hot water boiler is relatively low, but it will be around 200℃. To reduce the flue gas temperature reasonably, we can be equipped with an economizer and condenser, but no condensation recovery device is required.

3. The exhaust gas temperature of the thermal oil boiler is relatively highest, which will be higher than 300℃. If the boiler is very large, it can be equipped with a waste heat boiler. In addition, equipped with an economizer and condenser, the thermal efficiency of the boiler can be increased by 10%. If the boiler is not large, it can be equipped with only an economizer and condenser.

1. Choose economizers of different materials according to different boiler capacities

Economizer can be divided into stainless steel economizer and stainless steel tube economizer according to the raw materials used.

The advantages of stainless steel economizer are: good corrosion resistance; disadvantages: low strength, can not withstand high pressure, generally used in small-capacity industrial boilers.

The advantages of the stainless steel tube economizer: high strength, can withstand impact, safe and reliable operation, good thermal conductivity, disadvantages: higher price; suitable for large and medium-capacity industrial boilers.

 

2. Choose different economizers according to different media

According to the working state of the medium, the economizer can be divided into non-boiling economizer and boiling economizer.

Tips: When the outlet water temperature is lower than the saturation temperature under the corresponding pressure, it is called a non-boiling economizer; when the outlet water temperature reaches the saturation temperature under the corresponding pressure or some steam is generated, it is called a boiling economizer.

 

Medium and low pressure industrial boilers generally use boiling economizers. Because the latent heat of vaporization of this type of boiler water is large, the heat absorption of the evaporation heating surface can be reduced.


High-pressure industrial boilers generally use non-boiling economizers. Because this type of boiler needs to transfer a small part of the water heating process to the water wall tube in the furnace to avoid excessively high temperature of the smoke coming out of the furnace, which is equivalent to a part of the evaporation heat acting as an economizer.
